Welcome to my site! I recently completed a PhD in Population Biology at UC Davis. My research involved applying mathematical models to interesting biological systems in order to describe and make predictions about population dynamics. Specifically, I dealt with questions relevant to conservation efforts and infectious disease dynamics. I am also interested in cultivating and assessing methods of effective teaching in both small- and large-enrollment classrooms.
I completed a MS degree in Population Biology, Ecology and Evolution at Emory University, and a BS degree in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences (minoring in applied mathematics and microbiology) at the University of Washington.
Currently, I am the Undergraduate Research Coordinator with the College of Biological Sciences at the University of Minnesota. More details coming soon!
