Welcome to my site! I am a PhD candidate in the Population Biology Graduate Group at UC Davis. My research involves applying mathematical models to interesting biological systems in order to describe and make predictions about population dynamics. Specifically, I am interested in questions relevant to conservation efforts and/or infectious disease dynamics. I am also interested in cultivating and assessing methods of effective teaching in both small- and large-enrollment classrooms.
I completed a MS degree in Population Biology, Ecology and Evolution at Emory University, and a BS degree in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences (minoring in applied mathematics and microbiology) at the University of Washington.
